CHOOSING A 4 PORT VOICE
CARD
|
D/41H or D/4 PCI
|
This is a 4 line voice card available in ISA
and PCI. You can use two or more of these cards to get 8
or more ports.
This
card includes Pulse Detection (DPD). Text To Speech
(TTS) and Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR)
are supported at an extra cost. (Please note, D/4 PCI
does not support TTS and ASR at this time -- only the
D/41H supports them.) The D/4 PCI must be used with
NT only. In general, we strongly
recommend that you use NT for all Dialogic 4-port cards
rather than Windows 95/98.
These cards are
suitable for IVR, Voicemail, TTS, etc. For a
complete list of applications see our web site (link
below). |

Dialog/4
|
4 port
voice card without any pulse detection, ISA only (no
PCI). You can use two or more of these cards to get 8 or
more ports. TTS and ASR are NOT supported.
Suitable for Voicemail, IVR (without pulse
detection). |
|
D/41ESC
or
D/41EPCI (higher
cost) |
4
port voice card. ISA with SC Bus or PCI with CT
Bus. You can use the Bus to connect to other cards
having the SC or CT Bus. You can use two or more of these
cards to get 8 or more ports.
TTS and ASR are supported at
an extra cost. This card is a full-length card, is more
robust, allows bridging (i.e. conferencing of two lines within
the card), and you can move calls from one card to another (if
you are using multiple cards). It also has more
memory. Suitable for applications above as well as for
smaller towns and cities (due to its robustness), for smaller
Call Centers, and any advanced
use. |
