Data Exchange/Last Results

Act provides many ways to filter, sort and report information.  Act has a "Lookup" system that is very unique compared to other modern contact managers.  A "Lookup" is a snap-shot of a few contacts in your database.  It is possible to Replace, Add or Narrow the current "Lookup" to focus in on customers that match certain criteria.



Act offers many custom reports and methods to exchange data with other applications.  Importing comma-delimited data is a breeze with the Import wizard.


SSP adds another way of grouping customers based on the last call result.  When the agent properly disposes of the call, the history and last results field are updated.


The utilities menu provides a quick way to find customers in Act based on last results disposition.  Some examples of how this is useful are....

  1. At the beginning of the day the agent might want to lookup all virgin (never been called) contacts to call.

  2. After lunch, he/she might want to call all customers that had an answering machine disposition in the morning. 

  3. At the end of the day he/she can lookup all cold dispositions and delete them from the list. 

Last results lookups are ideal for managing lists and contacting a specific groups of customers a second time.
