Dispositions/Messages
SSP provides many ways to customize a
marketing campaign. After each call, the agent should use a descriptive
disposition to group calls into categories. Some dispositions are
automatically handled for the agent such as BUSY, NO ANSWER, and SIT TONE.
Others are fixed dispositions like AM, AM MSG, and NOCALLS. By
default, SSP has 4 custom dispositions, HIT, HOT, WARM, and COLD.
These can be changed to have more meaning to the agent..
Approximately 50 percent of all calls will result in leaving a voice mail
message. SSP allows the agent to pre-record up to 7 different messages to
leave on answering machines.

When smart dialing the agent will often
need to pause to make notes before calling the next customer. Pressing
the "Follow Up" button will disconnect the current customer, allow the
agent
make notes and then finally disposition the call which will resume smart
dialing.
